Board of Education, Trustee, Trustee, was elected to the Board of Education in 2003. Dr. Webb has previously held the positions of BOE President and Vice President. He is a Professor of English and formerly Provost of Adelphi University. “It is important to offer a fine education while reducing costs to taxpayers. My goals include emphasizing high quality instruction and genuine learning while sustaining local control over the schools by showing that we can be masters of our own ship.” Qualifications/Committees: Serves on Construction Steering Committee, Legislation Action Committee, Policy Review Committee, Audit Committee, and External Auditor Sub-Committee. |
Dr. Webb is a native of Slovakia and grew up in Manhattan where he attended the public schools. He is married to Marianne Walters, a practicing psychologist.
